The snake-nosed Yaghüth build their elaborate temples among the jungles to the south of the Steppes. Their soldiers sometimes come far enough north to stamp out a few raiders along the Great Trade Road. Yaghüth are peaceable neighbors but implacable enemies. Their grudges last generations, and a slight can never be taken back. Similarly, however, they repay favors even decades later, or pass on the obligation to repay their benefactors to their children and their children’s children.
